Start Date: April 2024

Hours: 30-35 hours/week starting at $18/hour plus access to vegetables

Job Description & Responsibilities:

We are seeking candidates interested in expanding their knowledge and understanding of farming and food production. Individuals who are self-motivated, able to successfully communicate as part of a team and are willing to engage in physical work outdoors in all conditions with a positive attitude are best suited. Successful candidates are expected to assist with a broad range of tasks including but not limited to: weeding, transplanting, harvesting, post-harvest handling, sanitation/maintenance and a variety of other tasks throughout the course of the season.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

• Self-motivated

• Willing to work outdoors in all weather (cold, wet, hot or uncomfortable)

• Punctual

• Previous experience working in a fast pace environment is an asset.

• Previous experience in agriculture, particularly organic agriculture is an asset.

• Previous experience doing outdoor and/or manual labour also an asset, but if you have a willingness to learn we will train you!

• Access to a mobile phone and computer.
